What this site is
An independent guide. We are not a travel agency, tour operator or booking service, we sell nothing, and we take no commission from any place described here. Nobody pays to appear on this site and nobody can pay to be removed from it.
What the information is, and is not
Descriptions are written from published sources, which are listed for every page on the sources page. Climate figures are long-term averages for 1991 to 2020. An average is a description of thirty past years, not a forecast: a given week can be far warmer, cooler, wetter or windier than the figures suggest. Check a forecast before you travel.
Opening times, prices, access rules and transport change without notice, and some places restrict access seasonally or for conservation. Nothing here replaces checking with the operator before you set out, especially where access is controlled or a booking is required.
Distances and maps
Distances shown on this site are straight-line distances calculated from coordinates. Real journeys are longer, sometimes much longer where the road goes around a mountain or ends in a dirt track. The locator maps are simplified outlines for orientation, not navigation; the links go to Google Maps for that.
Liability
We put real care into getting this right and we correct mistakes as soon as we hear about them, but we cannot guarantee that everything is complete, current or free of error. You use the information at your own risk, and decisions about travel, swimming, walking and driving remain yours. Nothing here limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Polish law.
Using our content
The text and page design are ours. You may quote a short passage with a link back. Copying whole pages, or reproducing the site in bulk, is not permitted without asking first.
The photographs are not ours: they come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences, and each photographer is named on the sources page. If you want to reuse a photograph, follow its own licence, not these terms. Factual background comes from Wikipedia and Wikivoyage under CC BY-SA 4.0.
